Adding Printers from Other Branches (PrinterLogic)

This guide walks you through installing printers from other PSC branches using PrinterLogic. Screenshots are included at each stage to show exactly what you should see.

Prerequisites

• You are logged into your PSC computer
• Google Chrome is installed
• You have access to **Duo MFA **(app or SMS)

Step 1: Open PrinterLogic from the System Tray

1. Look in the lower-right corner of your desktop (system tray).
2. If you do not see the PrinterLogic icon, click the up arrow (^) to show hidden icons.
3. Locate the PrinterLogic icon.

✅ Tip: The PrinterLogic icon appears as a small printer/green icon.

1. Right‑click the PrinterLogic icon.
2. Select Add Printer.

Step 2: Install the PrinterLogic Chrome Extension (One-Time Setup)
If the Chrome extension is not installed yet, you will see the message below.

1. Chrome will open automatically.
2. Click Install when prompted.

3. Click Install Extension.

4. When redirected to the Chrome Web Store, click Enable Now.

✅ Once enabled, return to the PrinterLogic icon in the system tray and select Add Printer again.

Step 3: Log in to PrinterLogic
You will be redirected to the PrinterLogic login page.

1. Click PSC_PrinterLogic.

2. Enter your credentials:

• Username: Your PSC email address
• Password: The same password you use to log into your computer

3. Click Sign In.

Step 4: Complete Duo Multifactor Authentication
After entering your credentials, Duo authentication is required.

• Approve the Duo Push on your phone OR
• Enter the 6‑digit SMS code if prompted

✅ Once approved, you will be logged in automatically.

Step 5: Install a Printer from Another Branch
After authentication, the PrinterLogic printer listing will load.
Installing the Printer

1. In the left pane, double‑click the branch you want to install printers from.
2. Double‑click the printer category/type under that branch.
3. Locate the desired printer in the list.
4. Click the printer name.
   ****When prompted, click Yes to install.

✅ Windows will complete the installation automatically.

Troubleshooting Tips
🔄** PrinterLogic icon missing**: Check the hidden icons (^) in the system tray
🌐 Nothing happens when clicking Add Printer: Make sure Chrome is installed and set as default
🧩** Extension won’t install**: Restart Chrome and try again
🔐 Login issues: Verify your network password and Duo authentication
